Lockout services are companies that specialize in getting you back into your vehicle without harming your vehicle. They will send someone out to your location immediately so that you are able to get back in your vehicle.

Go Somewhere Safe

Second, once you call for assistance and know that help is on the way, you need to go somewhere where you will be safe. You should not stand outside of your vehicle in the cold for half an hour waiting for help to arrive, especially if it is dark outside. You need to go somewhere where you can be safe.

Presumable, you can go back to wherever you were before. If you were at a shopping mall, go back inside. If you were at a restaurant, let them know what happened and see if you can sit at a table or sit in the waiting area for assistance to arrive. Most places will allow you to sit and wait for help.
